Stamp Spooktacular

Stampin' Up! is having a Stamp Spooktacular and on Monday, October 29 ONLY most stamps will be 15% off.  This will be a great time to stock up on stamps for Christmas cards and holiday projects.  I know I will be taking advantage of this!  Also, there are more single stamps to choose from.  I have linked the flyers below, they aren't advertising the single stamps until next month so the only way to purchase them is to get the item numbers from the flyers.  Let me know if you need help.
Here are the details for the Stamp Spooktacular:
Starting at 12:00 AM (MT) and ending at 11:50 PM (MT), almost every stamp we sell will be 15 percent off.
This means all stamps in the current catalogs including
  • Background stamps
  • Personalized name stamps
  • Incentive stamp sets from the supply list
  • Cookie press stamps
  • Single stamps
    This DOES NOT include
    • Hostess sets
    • Bundled stamp sets
    • Digital stamp brush sets
    • There is no minimum purchase, and no limit to the number of stamps you can order.

A few weeks ago we announced that until January 2, 2013, you have the opportunity to purchase single stamps from the Word Play, Perfectly Penned, and Seasonal Sayings Stamp Sets. Based on the interest we have seen so far, it appears that customers love them! And now we are excited to let you know that we have added ten more individual images-including three images that you have never seen before!

    • You can find the stamp item numbers on the flyers.
    • We will not promote this offer on the Customer site until November 1 however, the single stamps can be ordered in the online store.
    • These won't be sent to you in our typical cases or packaging; they'll be packaged in cello bags. If you'd like a case for your stamp, you can buy our Clear-Mount Stamp Cases that come in packs of four (item 119105).
    • This offer is available for clear-mount stamps only.
    • The stamps won't come with a Clear-Mount Block, and you'll need to buy a block separately if you don't already have one. The recommended block sizes can be found on the flyers.
    • There's no limit on how many pieces you can buy.
    • Remember that this is a pilot program, so take advantage of it while you can!

Don't forget to place your order here on Monday for 15% off stamps.  Don't hesitate to call or shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions.

    Mojo 263

So, I got my creative juices flowing and this is what I came up with for the Mojo Monday Blog - Mojo 263.  I guess that I am switching back and forth between holidays (Halloween and Christmas) but all of the stamps are so cute, I can't resist.

    Damask Christmas Card

So, since I missed the challenge for Black Tie Fridays this past week; I was committed to entering the challenge this week.  When I got home from work today the hubby was taking a nap so I took advantage of the situation and decided to make a card for the new challenge that came out today.  So, I looked it up and Challenge #6 is Black and Brown with 3-D Inside.  Jeez, that's quite the challenge.  I had been wanting to experiment with some new Stampin' Up! materials that I had bought recently so I did.  I used the Ornaments Keepsakes stamp set along with the Holiday Ornaments Framelits to cut out the ornaments.  On the front of the card I attempted to fade from black to light brown with the layers (it's kind of hard to tell).  On the inside of the card I used four ornaments that I cut out, folded them in half and glued them all together for a "3-D Effect."  So, here goes... Black and brown card front with a 3-D Ornament inside!

Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Whisper White, Basic Black, Soft Suede
Stamp Set: Stampin' Up! Ornament Keepsakes and Season of Joy, Ditto Damask
       Framelits: Stampin' Up! Holiday Ornaments
Ink: Stampin' Up! Basic Black, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake
       Twine: The Twinery Flax

    Halloween Challenges.

I made this card in an attempt to complete a couple of challenges.  The color inspiration is from Party Time Tuesdays and the starburst design is from Black Tie Fridays.  I have been crazy busy this week and haven't had much time to craft at all.  I decided that I had to get into the craft room and whip this up because I would miss out on the challenges.  So, all of the paper are scraps.  The stamp is Stampendous and I bought it last year but never used it so it was finally time to bust it out of its original packaging.

    Challenges I've Entered:
    Party Time Tuesdays - PTT#90
Fab N Funky - Orange, Black and Choice!
    Crazy4Challenges - C4C159
I meant to enter the Black Tie Friday Challenge for the Starburst but I missed it... Boo.

    Mojo Monday 262

I entered my first challenge!  Today I made a Halloween themed card for the Mojo Monday 262 Challenge.  I used a hodgepodge of supplies that I had collected throughout the years.  I used the witch and spider stamps from the Googly Ghouls stamp set and the cauldron and Happy Halloween stamps from the Toxic Treats stamp set both are from Stampin' Up!  Solid cardstock: Basic Black and Lucky Limeade from Stampin' Up!  Other Halloween paper from some random themed set I bought a couple years ago.  Charcoal twine from The Twinery.
